I often receive comments that I always have a smile on my face and can brighten anyone?s mood. I think the single best way to do great work is to love what you do. That is why I consider my work to be not a job, but my passion. When I began this career path, I was unclear on how I could make an impact on human connection. I quickly came to realize just how emotional and personal this journey is for many. I then knew, without a doubt, my mission was to create a personalized patient experience in my practice that is paramount.

I was born and raised in American Fork. My family has a long tradition of serving the health needs of the residents of Utah County (my grandfather was Dr. Guy Richards). Following my LDS mission to the deaf in the Boston Massachusetts Mission, I decided to pursue Audiology as a profession.

Nashlea Brogan, Au.D., Founding Canadian Member

I am passionate advocate for those with hearing loss, and have dedicated my career to helping people hear better by using the latest advancements and tools available in the Audiology profession. As a Cochlear Implant (CI) user, who had a late onset progressive hearing loss, I understand firsthand the challenges that come with hearing loss and its treatment options, and use these experiences to better provide long term patient centered care.

As the sole owner of an audiology practice for the past 19 years, I am committed to providing the highest level of progressive care to my practice's patients. Whether I am providing education, treatment options, and counseling to individuals and families affected by hearing loss, or leading my professional team, I strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those I serve.

Beyond my work in private practice, I am deeply involved in advocacy efforts to raise awareness about the impact of hearing loss beyond just treating the ear. I frequently talk about cognitive health, mental health, and the realities of living life with hearing loss.

Eric Mounts, H.I.S., Founding Member

I've been in the hearing health industry for 30 years and have devoted my career to helping solve the problems of daily life caused by hearing loss.

First, as a technician, I attained the fundamental knowledge of hearing aid technology and practical skills from seeing how technology provides a better hearing experience if fit properly. I learned how variances in technology, testing, and fitting techniques impact success in hearing loss treatment and overall patient satisfaction. Because I was distressed by the level of patient care and attention available in our industry, I opened our first hearing center in 1994, for the sole purpose of focusing on our patient's needs first. I have been doing that ever since, and I lead my team of professionals with this objective each day.
